Organization
Oslo Society of Exploration Geophysicists (OSEG) was founded on May 10, 2005 at Skøyen, Oslo, and has close to 150 members (as of December 2008). The intention of the Society is to be a meeting place, both technically and socially, for persons interested in geosciences in the Oslo area. OSEG aims at arranging approximately 6 meetings/workshops per year. The meetings are held at various geoscience locations e.g. oil companies, oil service companies, and academic institutions.

OSEG is registered in Brønnøysundregisteret with Organisasjonsnummer 988 310 506.
